BELDRAY AIRLITE RECHARGEABLE LIGHTWEIGHT HANDHELD VACUUM

  • The air inlet or attachment could be blocked. Therefore, you need to disconnect the attachment and clear any blockage.
  • It could be that the dust container is almost full. Therefore, you need to empty the dust container.
  • The most common issue is the HEPA filter being blocked, so I would suggest rinsing it under cold water and allowing it to dry naturally.
  • The filter has worn out and needs replacing. Please go to the 'links' section underneath the questions to find the replacement filter link.

  • Secure the vacuum onto the charging base and switch it on at the mains power supply (do not use an extension cable for charging the product)
  • Check that the vacuum cleaner is turned off before charging
  • It can take up to 4 hours for the vacuum to fully recharge again
  • Ensure that the correct charging adaptor for the vacuum cleaner is being used (do not use any adaptor other than that supplied)
  • Before first use, the vacuum cleaner must be charged for approx. 4–5 hours. Subsequent charging times will vary dependent on use.
  • If the vacuum cleaner battery becomes drained completely during use, it may take up to 4–5 hours to fully recharge.
  • STEP 1: Check that the vacuum cleaner is switched off.
  • STEP 2: The charging base comes disassembled. Fit the two parts together, aligning the charging port on one piece with the end of the mains power adaptor on the other. Push together until they click into place. Secure the vacuum cleaner into position in the charging base.
  • STEP 3: Plug the mains power adaptor into the mains power supply; the indicator light will turn red during charging. Once the battery is fully charged, the indicator light will turn blue.
  • NOTE: Whilst charging, the vacuum cleaner main unit may become warm. Always make sure that the mains power adaptor is unplugged from the mains power supply once the battery is fully charged.
  • Do not use any mains power adaptor other than that supplied. Using an alternative will increase the risk of damage to the appliance or injury to the user.
  • STEP 1: Hold the vacuum cleaner with the dust container facing upwards. Press the dust container release button and carefully remove the dust container cover from the dust container.
  • STEP 2: Empty the dust container slowly and carefully to reduce the amount of dust released back into the atmosphere. If necessary, clean the individual parts with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  • STEP 3: Refit the suction nozzle by aligning it with the indentations on the vacuum cleaner main unit and pushing into place until it clicks.
  • NOTE: It is recommended that the dust container is emptied outdoors.
  • NOTE: The HEPA filter can only be accessed when the dust container is removed.
  • STEP 1: After emptying the dust container following the instructions in the section entitled ‘Emptying the Dust Container’, remove the dust container from the main unit by rotating clockwise until the arrows align to the ‘unlocked’ position.
  • STEP 2: Remove the HEPA filter and filter cone by pulling them out of the dust container.
  • STEP 3: Shake the HEPA filter until the majority of the dust has been removed, then rinse the filter and filter cone under clean, warm water and allow to dry naturally.
  • STEP 4: Once both are fully dry, place the HEPA filter back into the filter cone and insert into the dust container.
  • STEP 5: Insert the dust container into the main unit, align arrow to unlock symbol and rotate anti-clockwise until the arrows aligns into the ‘locked’ position.
  • NOTE: The HEPA filter and filter cone should be thoroughly cleaned at least once every three weeks.
  • Do not clean the HEPA filter using detergent or use external heat sources, such as a radiator to dry it.
